Sylvester Okango, leader of Kenya Evangelism team, was in a head-on collision in November. He was taken to hospital with a dislocated hip. Intercede for him, that God will completely heal him and that he may come out of hospital soon.

Most of us we feel unsafe as we are close neighbours. Al Shaabab have issued a warning of revenge. Our Gospel workers in the northeast have fled the area as we are waiting for the security to be beefed up. Most of our programs have been interrupted greatly. Thank for standing with us in prayers.” Pray for safety for CEM’s missionaries, and for peace to be restored to this region.

In Yunnan Province, a compassion ministry cares for HIV patients who are sick and dying. During their last visit to China, Freddie and Dorothy Sun shared the Gospel with them. Missionaries also take care of deaf mute tribal patients, reaching them with the Good News through sign language. They all have become believers and when their family members visited them, seeing their peace and joy, they also believed. The ministry needs $1,000 per month for operations and to care for their patients.

Banjara Tribal Ministries has planted 100 churches, only some of which have buildings. Most congregations meet under large trees. BTM churches have grown quickly, and now have more than 20,000 adult baptized believers. Pray for more buildings for BTM’s congregations ($5,000 each).

Since Voice of Salvation was started more than 50 years ago, it has expanded from Kenya into Uganda and Tanzania. Pray for God’s continued blessing on and provision for VOS’s crusades. Pray that many East Africans will receive salvation through VOS and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Siloam Evangelical Fellowship’s missionaries want to help out needy people in some villages by offering them free medical camps. “People in the villages always expect some help when we go for outreach evangelism,” explains J. Buraga, leader of SEF. “Most of the villages are very backward, without hospitals. Many are left with chronic diseases and many starve to death. Each medical camp will cost us $100, including medicine and doctor’s remuneration.” Please pray for provision for several camps.

Fasting, praying, retreats, night watches, are periodically held in the building, and play a very important part in the community life. Churches of Ayacucho missionaries are grateful that they could construct new churches in Andabamba and Tupin recently. Praise God for His provision.

An Uzbekistan Christian Fellowship church recently expanded its building. But authorities visited the church and tried to shut it down. However, when they found the church documents were in order, they tried another tactic. They inspected the church and ordered its leaders to make more renovations quickly, or their registration would be taken away. The church members gathered for prayer and took action to meet the demands before the deadline. They were able to raise part of the money, but they need $19,000 to cover the cost of the renovation. Please pray that God will provide that amount to this ministry.

The students of B. Mission Seminary are often led by their teachers on evangelistic missions in several Chinese provinces. They reach Chinese Muslims and unreached tribes. The students study for four years, with one year ministering in mission fields. After they graduate, they return to their hometowns to evangelize the unreached tribes. The school needs $31,000 for operational expenses, mission trips, computers and other equipment.

Cambodia for Christ is a new ministry Intercede has started working with in that country. Daniel Lee leads that ministry, as well as Intercede partner Vietnam For Christ. At this point, work in Cambodia is dangerous because of the influence of the Vietnamese government, explains Lee. “We need your prayer badly.” Pray for Lee and his co-workers as they do evangelism work in Cambodia.

MCM has long prayed for a means to take the Gospel to this unreached tribe and writes, “We were already stretched with the Fulani work. Now we are helping the victims of the Kona-Mumuye tribal violence. We are so grateful for these unprecedented open doors, but we desperately need more resources to answer these extraordinary calls for help without delay.”

Gospel Outreach Centre’s Bible Correspondence Courses have affected thousands of Nepalis, many of whom have become committed Christians. Pray for God’s provision for these courses, so many more lives will be touched by God’s power through them.

The Hre tribe suffers much persecution in central Vietnam. Authorities burn their houses and torture believers, reports Vietnam For Christ. This persecution has actually stirred strong revival, but there is now a deep shortage of properly trained church leaders to lead these new Christians. Right now, more than 30 Hre church leaders are waiting to be trained. The cost of training a tribal pastor is only $300 per year. Pray for $9,000 to train these leaders.
