Projects

Intercede International is involved in working with national Christians who conduct indigenous mission projects impacting over 50 nations. If you have an interest in a world "need" (ie. "widows" or "disaster", "poor") or in a nation or world region (ie. try "world", "India" or "SE Asia") just type in the type of need, country name or region name in the SEARCH BOX or alternately the project code or title, if you know it, and the project(s) will be displayed. Some of these "projects" are indigenous mission agencies who partner with Intercede International, while other projects address human needs in various regions of the world.

Once the Search Engine displays the project(s), click on the Project Link you have chosen and the Search Engne will display what items are available for that Project.

572CEM - Cornerstone Evangelistic Ministries - Kenya

Cornerstone Evangelistic Ministry has a strong commitment to local churches as the instrument for Christian growth and outreach. Workers help evangelical churches to get involved in missions within their own localities. Director Timothy Kinyua and his co-workers equip local pastors and lay-people with training and materials. New churches are planted only in areas unreached by the Gospel.

572ELC - Ebenezer Life Centre - Kenya

The Ebenezer Life Centre was implemented to provide several necessary ministries through the church. “Shining the Light and Giving Life” is the motto of ELC. The name Ebene-zer has its basis in Biblical reference to mean, “hitherto has the Lord helped us.” The Centre includes four primary ministries: The Ebenezer Orphanage, The Ebenezer Christian School, The Rehabilitation Centre for Street Children, and The Widow and Single Mothers Program.

572GAP - Kenya Where Needed - Kenya

This represents programs for Kenya that Intercede International  addresses.

572KET - Kenya Evangelism Team - Kenya

Sylvester Okango began Kenya Evangelism Team in 1972 with one church. He now oversees more than 350 churches with more than 700 pastors, evangelists and missionaries, who lead tens of thousands of believers. KET concentrates on reaching those who have never had exposure to the gospel. Missionaries are very poor, going into the most remote rural areas to reach different tribes, such as the Turkana, Bukusu and Teso.

572VOS - Voice of Salvation - Kenya

More than 700 churches have been planted throughout East Africa by missionaries of  Voice of Salvation since its official registry in 1956. In the beginning, leader Silas Owiti suffered much persecution and hardship after giving up his prestigious government job to answer a call to follow Christ. Now, thousands of full-time workers train new believers, hold open-air meetings and go door-to-door with the Good News.
