Projects

Intercede International is involved in working with national Christians who conduct indigenous mission projects impacting over 50 nations. If you have an interest in a world "need" (ie. "widows" or "disaster", "poor") or in a nation or world region (ie. try "world", "India" or "SE Asia") just type in the type of need, country name or region name in the SEARCH BOX or alternately the project code or title, if you know it, and the project(s) will be displayed. Some of these "projects" are indigenous mission agencies who partner with Intercede International, while other projects address human needs in various regions of the world.

Once the Search Engine displays the project(s), click on the Project Link you have chosen and the Search Engne will display what items are available for that Project.

801JJS - Jehovah Jireh School - Philippines

Jehovah Jireh School is truly a beacon for the Lord: a Christian school whose student population is mostly Muslim, located in a predominantly Muslim region. Three churches have also been planted as a result of the JJS ministry.

801SMM - Smoky Mountain Ministries - Philippines

In Manila’s Tondo dump area, some of the Phillippines’ poorest people live in rows of hovels. Smoky Mountain Ministries was conceived in the spring of 1984 by a missionary couple who felt compassion for the poor people living in or near the dump. Since that small beginning, more than 500 souls have been brought to the Lord’s feet through SMM.

801SMO - Student Missionary Outreach - Philippines

Student Missionary Outreach began in 1977 with evangelism clubs on Philippines high school and college campuses. SMO wins students for Christ and teaches them to be witnesses for the Lord. “Every Christian student, a campus missionary” is SMO’s motto. And some, indeed, become fulltime missionaries.

900CHM - China Mission - China

China is a vast mission field, for the most part inaccessible to North American missionaries, but well within the reach of indigenous Chinese missionaries. They are taking the Gospel to their own people as never before—with outstanding success. Currently, Intercede International works with 122 Bible schools in China. Some regions of China, such as Tibet, are strongly resistant to the Gospel. But Christians have found that compassionate projects such as orphanages and homes for disabled children are effective means of meeting physical needs while also opening the door for evangelism.
