Ram was born in a Hindu Brahmin family which is a traditional caste in hinduism. He used to teach in a primary school in his village while he was completing high school studies. One day, he found a booklet on which was written the address of Gospel Outreach Centre.

Ram found that booklet very exciting and wrote to GOC for more booklets. When he recieved all the course materials and upon completion a certificate, Ram decided to travel to Pokara to be baptised.

Ram's family and friends persecuted him for his belief in Christ but in Pokhara he had opportunity to participate in different training programs. With the help of GOC's leader's Ram has now learned how share his faith in Jesus Christ and is now involved in ministry.
