In 2016, one of the students of Evangelical Christian Fellowship’s Nepal Bible College went to Kanchanpur in western Nepal and planted a church. “In the beginning, he was persecuted and faced opposition,” reports Evangelical Christian Fellowship leader Sundar. “Today, he has become light and salt engaging that community. Because of his good works and involvement in the community, the community has given a big piece of land for the church as appreciation for what he has done for the community. Today we see many lives have been transformed and follow Jesus. The members of church grew to more than 200 members, and they felt the urgent need of a church building. So ECF encouraged and helped them financially to build the church building. Now at least 300 believers can gather there for church services.”
